Boys tennis bows out at regional

I’m so proud of my team this year. I wasn’t sure what sort of a season we were going to have after graduating so many seniors the past two years, but we exceeded every goal we set for ourselves this year. We had great senior leadership in Burgess, Fleck, Miller and Piper. They’ve truly succeeded in leaving the program better than they found it and I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for their team. We competed at times tonight, but we also looked really tight. Theo loosened up and played a solid match against Rolwing who is probably an all-state selection. I was really impressed with the way 1 doubles played. Though the score may not reflect it, it was a tight match against a doubles team that will probably make a deep run in the individual tournament. Overall I couldn’t be happier with how this season went, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.
