Couldn’t be more proud of our guys tonight. I was slightly concerned after how we came out last night, so we talked a lot about finding some increased energy and motivation for tonight, and they did that and more. Reid got us started with a quick 1 and 0 win. For a freshman he plays like a senior. His poise and competitive fire are really impressive and he has worked incredibly hard at improving his game. Theo resembled the player we see in practice every day which I was happy to see again. Fleck/Piper played great tonight and definitely rebounded after a lackluster performance last night. They sealed the 3rd win for us to clinch the title, and Burgess/Hahn was the icing on the cake. We are ecstatic to win our 3rd sectional in a row, and are enjoying it tonight, but tomorrow we go back to work preparing for the Jasper regional.
