Lincoln boys Soccer took a tough loss Saturday afternoon against Evansville Mater Dei. The Alices fell short in a 1-0 loss. Paxton Smith ended the day with four saves. David Ramirez, Cannon McCallister, Jude Clark, and Levi Klingler were all credited with shots on goal. Lincoln’s boys also earned a number of corners in the game and had promising opportunities on each of them. The Wildcats earned a fortunate goal in the second half off a corner kick. The Alices lead the way and won the possession battle. The majority of possession play leaned the Alices. The Wildcats frequently had to slowdown the Alices with obstruction, as Lincoln created many through ball opportunities and attacks from the outside. Daniel Henderson won our man of the match award with very impressive play from the right back position. Daniel was dominant with any ball that was in the air near him and played the ball forward onto a number of players very well. The Alices go 2–1 on the week and head into next week with three varsity games and two JV games to close out the regular season, the first being away at Sullivan on Monday night.
