Boys tennis keeps LHS invite trophy at home

I’m happy with how we played today, especially at the singles positions. Carter played perhaps his best match of the year. We have worked on his footwork and racket preparation and his game has really elevated in the last week or so. Theo is looking more comfortable and took home a nice win over Dowden who is a very good player. Reid’s game has become very consistent, and he’s adding some power to his serves and ground strokes. He looked great today. It was the first time for Burgess/Hahn playing together outside of practice so they are still working out some chemistry, but they will be a very tough out at #2 doubles, the same being true for Piper/Fleck. Winning our own invite is always a goal of ours and we’re happy we were able to achieve it again this year.
