The Lady Alices Extend the Win Streak to 4 with a 7 Goal Shutout

The Lady Alices carry the previous match momentum over into this one tonight as they took on the Trojans from Wood Memorial. They would go on to win 7-0, improving the Lady Alices' record to 6-4 on the season. Goals! Goals! Goals from Alice's tonight. Coming into the game, I told the girls, "Every game for the rest of the season has to be treated like it's the most important game of the year because it's critical to continue to win after digging out of our (2-4) hole that we dug in August." I think they took it to heart, and they challenged themselves. The team played as one. It was the keeper that started the attacks, and the offense that started the defense and pressing. It was a complete and perfect game, something that I have been asking the coaching staff about. Tonight, they put it all together. Everything that has been worked on and drilled since the summer. And there's been flashes of it all season, even against the big teams like Castle. But tonight it was all there from back to front. 1st half Scoring Summary: Azaria Easley scores, assisted by Madeline Mitchell in the 32nd minute JJ Riggs scores in the 30th minute Azaria Easley scores, assisted by JJ Riggs in the 18th minute Madeline Mitchell scores, assisted by Brylee Quinett in the 15th minute JJ Riggs scores in the 3rd minute 2nd half Scoring Summary: Azaria Easley scores her 3rd goal, completing her hat trick in the 38th minute JJ Riggs scores her 3rd goal completing her hat trick, assisted by Madeline Mitchell in the 33rd minute.
