Lincoln Boys Soccer brought home a victory today against North Knox. The final score after 40 minutes was 9-0 in favor of the Alices. Junior, David Ramirez, opened the scoring in the 3rd minute with a rocket of a shot from near the 18 yard box. Sophomore, Gera Silva, then added goal for the Alices in the 5th minute. Senior, Morgan Horst, added one himself in the 10th minute. Claudson Thomas, a junior, would added two goals himself in the 13th and 14th minutes. Freshman player, Calvin Doggett, earned his first career high school goal just after the 15th minute. Sophomore, Cooper Barekman, would add a goal just before the 18th minute. Senior, Paxton Smith, who usually plays keeper took a shift as a striker and added a goal himself in the 39th minute. Senior, Daniel Henderson, would close the scoring in the final minute of the half and game by putting away a penalty kick. Senior, Lucas Klingler, earned two assists for his season tally. Jean Josaphat also earned an assist on Paxton Smith’s finish. We also saw great play out of sophomore, Hayden Lanning, senior, Kyler Durham, and sophomore, Chase Durham. Sophomore, Landon Telligman, got the start in goal and had a quiet morning cleaning up a few long balls that slipped through. He distributed the ball forward well to get the Alices back into the attack. The boys return to action on Monday at home with a matchup with Vincennes Rivet at 5:00 PM.
