Vincennes Lincoln 0 vs Evansville North 5 1S- Madison Fleck vs Lauren Briscoe (4-6, 3-6) 2S- Maddy Mitchell vs Yuina Karakawa (3-6, 0-6) 3S- Adra Luking vs Wren Wheeler (4-6, 4-6) 1D- JJ Riggs/Payton Riggs vs Gracie Watkins/ Tessa Wilke (4-6, 2-6) 2D- Callie Turner/Kylee Henderson vs Madalyn Cole/Avery Littell (6-6 TB (3-7), 4-6) The girls played extremely well against a very reputable team. We 100% could've won in each position tonight but we had a lot of silly unforced errors that costed us in the long run. Madison Fleck had several aggressive groundstroke winners & some nice aces. Adra Luking battled back and forth all night. I had two parents mention that she had very impressive groundstrokes and she was a very kind person. The Riggs had their first go at doubles and they did really well at the net and they made it very difficult to get anything past them. My 2 doubles team, I'm very proud of how well they were communicating, moving, and adapting to their opponents' changes. Callie and Kylee both were leaping for every short/deep ball and weren't giving up easy. Sadly, we couldn't come out with a much-needed win, but the team showed up in each spot and showed their true potential tonight against a school that's well known for tennis. Good Job tonight girls!!!
