Vincennes Lincoln vs Gibson Southern Varsity vs Gibson Southern (1 - 4) Loss 1S- Madison Fleck vs Alli Deal (4-6, 4-6) 2S- JJ Riggs vs Brylee Miller (6-4, 6-6: TB- 7-1 3S- Genesis Fonte vs Gabby Rogers (5-7, 5-7) 1D- Maddy Mitchell/Adra Luking vs Abby Naas/Maddy Martin (3-6, 3-6) 2D- Callie Turner/Payton Riggs vs Meredith Mann/Kali Layman (2-6, 0-6) First match was a night full of hectic wind for the girls. Many whiffs & misjudgments on foot placement from both teams but it was a close battle in every position. Madison at 1 single's rallied back and forth in deuce coming shy of a win. JJ outperformed her opponent well in all aspects, especially moving across the court very well to get her first win! Genesis playing her first match at Varsity showing no shyness constantly battling back and forth. It could've gone either way score wise today. Gibson southern has a great program and thankful our girls started out playing a competitive team.
