Urey boys and girls cross country team hosted conference rival Laville and Tippy Valley last evening. Unfortunately, Laville did not have enough runners to score on either side. Urey Boys came out on top winning the meet overall. Urey girls fell just short against a tough Tippy Valley team. Leading the way for the Urey girls team was Kendall Egger with a season PR of 12:12, followed by Erin Glennon with a season PR as well of 13:52. Rounding out the top 5 was Dallas Williams, Madalyn Williams, and Annalise Nowak. Amazing effort by the entire girls team as many are new runners this season! The boys team was full of season PRs last evening! Leading the way for the Urey boys team was Kenny Wilson with a season PR 12:15, followed closely by Zach Wolff with his season PR at 12:18. Rounding out the top 5 boys was Nathan Banicki (season PR 14:11), Trayten Messick (Season PR 14:58), and Elliot Lee (season PR 15:02). Ledger Hahn (16:18) and Landon Letherman (17:58) also both had impressive season PRs last night. Both teams will compete next against another conference rival, Bremen next week on Thursday.
