Game 1 Recap – Tournament Play We opened the tournament with a tough 38–9 loss to LaVille. The game started on a positive note as we jumped out to a 3–2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Our energy was strong early, and we competed well on both ends of the floor. Unfortunately, we couldn’t maintain that momentum. From the second quarter on, we were outscored and outplayed. We struggled to handle their pressure and couldn’t find a consistent rhythm offensively. Credit to our opponent — they were quick, aggressive, and clearly came in determined to win. While the final score wasn’t what we wanted, there are lessons to take from this one. Now it’s about putting together four complete quarters and responding better when adversity hits. Leading scorer for the Falcons was Kendall Egger with 5pts. Game 2 Recap – Tournament Play After a tough opening loss, our girls responded exactly the way you hope a team will — with focus, energy, and determination. We came out strong from the start, jumped to an early lead, and never looked back. We took the win in the consolation game agains Rochester 35-5. Defensively, this was a statement game. We held our opponent to just 4 points in the first half, kept them scoreless in the third quarter, and allowed only one point in the fourth. The defensive intensity, communication, and effort were outstanding for all four quarters. Offensively, we played with confidence and shared the ball well. Seven different players contributed in the scoring column, showing great balance and team play. Everyone stepped up, and it was truly a complete team win. Proud of how this group responded and bounced back. That’s the kind of resilience that builds strong teams. Leading the way in the scorers column was Jayden Karling with 15pts, including 3 from behind the arc. Kendall Egger chipped in 10pts and provided grit and hustle on both ends of the court both games. Also, scoring for the Lady Falcons: Myah Morgan - 4pts Emma Galvez - 2pts Leah Brackett - 2pts Kimberly Pearish - 1pt Devyn Hatton - 1pt
