Tonight was a tough loss for our JV team as we loss 33-14 to Argos. We didn’t play to our standard, especially on the defensive end. Our communication, effort, and execution weren’t where they needed to be, and that led to too many easy opportunities for our opponent. Defense has to be our foundation, and we didn’t set that tone last night. Offensively, we had stretches where we competed, but we couldn’t consistently get the stops needed to build momentum. Erin Matanic stood out with her effort and competitiveness. She battled on both ends and brought energy throughout the game. Offensively, Myah Morgan led the way for us, stepping up and carrying the scoring load when we needed it. There are lessons in this loss. We’ll regroup, refocus, and get back to work - especially on the defensive end. Our response will define us moving forward.
