Round 1 Tournament Win vs. Tippy Valley Vikings The Lady Falcons opened tournament play with a strong statement, defeating the host Tippy Valley Vikings 32–23 in a hard-fought Round 1 matchup. The Lady Falcons came out sharp and built an early lead, setting the tone with aggressive defense and efficient scoring. Tippy Valley responded with energy behind their home crowd, battling back to knot the game at 11–11 heading into halftime. Coming out of the break, the Lady Falcons took control. They turned up the defensive pressure and found their rhythm offensively, outscoring the Vikings in both the third and fourth quarters. The Falcons poured in 21 second-half points, creating separation and never relinquishing the lead. Balanced scoring, disciplined execution, and relentless effort on both ends of the floor proved to be the difference. The Lady Falcons stayed composed as the Vikings pushed to regain momentum, answering every run with timely stops and key baskets. Round 2 Tournament Recap vs. Triton Trojans The Lady Falcons faced a tough challenge in Round 2, matching up against a strong Triton Trojan squad. Triton struck first with a quick layup off the opening tip, setting an aggressive tone early. The Falcons responded with grit, trading baskets and defensive stops throughout the first half. Despite the back-and-forth battle, the Lady Falcons headed into the locker room trailing 11–8 at halftime, well within reach. Triton found another gear in the third quarter, using a strong push to extend their lead. The Lady Falcons continued to compete until the final buzzer, refusing to back down. In the closing seconds, the Falcons forced turnovers and capitalized, scoring four late points that reflected their hustle and determination. Although Triton held on for the win, the Lady Falcons showed heart, resilience, and effort throughout the contest — battling until the very end. Grace Turner led a very well balanced scoring with 4pts. Kendall Egger and Jayden Karling both added 3pts. Avery Thomas, Kimberly Pearish, Lily Gallardo and Emma Gonzalez all chipped in 2.
