Urey Falcons 8th grade traveled to Triton to start off the 2025-26 basketball season. The 1st quarter started off in a defensive battle until Triton struck first with an early lead. The Falcons scored inside on a couple of drives of their own with Dane Holmes and Kurt Stump scoring and Colten singleton added a free throw to get in the scoring column. 1st quarter score was 14-7 lead for Triton . A hot shooting 2nd quarter from deep for both teams. Brady Porter hitting 2 three pointers and Sam Kuespert hitting from deep. Triton lead at the half 25-16. The 3rd quarter the Falcons had a scoring drought until Colten Singleton connected from long range and a Kurt Stump bucket. Urey had some costly turnovers that extended a Triton lead 36-21 after 3 quarters of play .Urey battled in the fourth quarter behind a Dane Holmes bucket inside and Brady Porter long range 3pointer. Caleb Hoppe who was plagued by foul trouble added some tough interior play to get into the scoring column from the line.
