Cross Country Competes at the Landes Invitational The cross country teams competed at the Landes Invitational on September 17, putting together strong team efforts and gaining valuable experience against a competitive field. The boys team finished 6th out of 11 teams. Mario led the way with a 9th-place finish in 18:01.4, followed by Walt in 33rd at 20:02. Cal finished 48th in 22:04, Everette was 49th in 22:13.3, Chris placed 51st in 22:25, Hudson finished 52nd in 22:28, and Grant was 53rd in 22:37. Jayden finished 85th in 27:35, Lucas placed 93rd in 29:28, and Gray rounded out the field in 99th with a time of 51:28. The girls team finished 4th out of 7 teams, led by Raya with an impressive 11th-place finish in 22:24.7. Lilly followed in 14th at 22:56.7, while Kaia finished 17th in 23:29. Navya placed 20th in 24:11, and Delaney finished 24th in 24:49. Helen came in 38th at 27:34, followed by Brynn in 41st at 28:14, Maxine in 45th at 28:44, Avery in 49th at 29:15, Piper in 52nd at 30:15, Maddy in 57th at 31:03, and Natalie in 64th at 32:57. Both teams continued to show determination and team depth at the Landes Invitational as they work toward the remainder of the cross country season. Next up Golden Spike Invitational Saturday!
