The Indians Softball team traveled to cross town rival Mississinawa Valley and was Victorious 13-1. The Indians notched six runs in the third inning. Brianna Williams, Gabrielle Ordonez, Heather Lawrence, and Caroline Moore each drove in runs during the inning. Shannen Smith was the winning pitcher for Union City. Smith allowed three hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking zero. Lindsey Evans threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. The ladies are back at it Tuesday with a conference game 5:00 at Hagerstown. They are now 2-3 on the season.
