Lady Indians tennis team hosted their season opener against Randolph Southern on Thursday, April 10th. The lady Indians defeated Randolph Southern with a score of 4 to 1. With the victory the Lady Indians retained the travelling county racket. Scores for the night were: Ashley Garrett won her 1 Singles match with scores of 6-3, 6-0. Shelby Arnold lost her 2 singles match with scores of 2-6, 3-6. Addison Thornburg won her 3 singles match with scores of 6-4, 6-1. 1 doubles won played by Isabella Bahena and Sofia Emrick. 6-4, 6-3 2 doubles Mya LaFuze and Emmi Kreiner won their match. 6-1, 6-0 In our JV matches we had: Valeria Avila won her singles match playing one set with a score of 6-3. Arleth Banda won her singles match with a score of 6-0. Cintia Banda and Kayleigh Prescott did not have an opponent for the night. Everyone is working hard and we look forward to a great season!
