JH Boys Basketball - Game Summary
By Bruce Davison | Dec 3, 2024 9:03 AM
Monday evening, the 7th grade boys basketball team traveled to Richmond. Richmond was a very talented team with a final score of 64 to 17, but a highlight of the game was the sportsmanship and character demonstrated by both teams during and after the contest. Athletics is an extension of the classroom and it was displayed Monday evening with many life skills that will enhance other areas of each student athlete. The Indians had four players in the scorebook with points, led by Reid Kerns with 11, followed by Drake Payne, Luke Jefferis, and Luis Jimenez-Ulloa each adding 2. Adryen Hurtado played a good defensive game, as did Tristan Dohme. Keelijah Coopere, Jesse Fung, and Baylee Brock continue to improve each game and play an important role in their contributions for the team. The next game for the Indians is this Thursday at home versus Randolph Southern.
