The Indian runners were back at Centerville for the second time in less than a month but this time it was for the TEC meet and apparently the second time is a charm as Ava Jefferis and Jackson Liss both ran to new PRs for the Indians while Campbell Kerns ran another great race after a long trip back to town. Ava Jefferis and Campbell Kerns got the meet started for the Indians while Kara Walser was out due to injury. Jefferis lead the way for the Indians placing 3rd with a new PR of 21:42. Ava got out with the lead group and never looked back and was able to put together her best race ever heading into Sectional next week. Campbell Kerns was the next Indian to cross the finish line with her 4th best race of the season. Kerns placed 32nd for the Indians. Campbell has been the most consistent runner for both teams all season long. Jackson Liss lined up for the boys race ready to go. After running a 28:51 on September 21st at Centerville Liss put the hammer down and ran to a new PR of 24:41. Jackson was able to take 4 minutes and 10 seconds off of his previous time on the course. Liss crossed the finish line in 52nd place. The Indians are back in action next Saturday at Taylor University where they will all be battling to advance to the Regional.
