The Lady Indians beat Southern Wells in their home opener, 48-32. The Indians were led by Oaklee Reichard with 20 points and 5 assists. Evans had 9 points and Black pulled down 7 rebounds. Fischer gave the Indians 8 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks while stepping up big to finish inside off of multiple passes from Reichard. Ordonez hit some clutch free throws at the end of the game to pull away from the Raiders. The Indians move to 1-1 on the season and will play Randolph Southern on Wednesday at home. The JV will tip for a two quarter game at 6:00 PM and varsity with an approximate tip time of 7:00 PM. The JV played two quarters and fell to the Raiders, 7-9. Jones, Kerns, and L.Evans all had 2 points and 4 rebounds each. They move to 0-2 on the season and will play two quarters against Randolph Southern on Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
