The Lady Indians defeated the Union Rockets in their home opener 45-28. The Indians were led by Schoonbroodt with 19 points, Smith with 10 points and Kerns with 12 rebounds. The Indians fought through the battling Rockets to come out on top. They move to 1-0 on the season and will play at Southern Wells on Saturday. The JV was defeated by Connersville 46-19. The scoring was balanced for the Indians; Carter 5, Mote 5, Evans 6. The Indians are 0-1 and will also play at Southern Wells at 6:00 PM.
