CULVER — Triton’s boys tennis team advanced to the sectional championship with a 4-1 victory over Plymouth on Wednesday evening at the Gable Tennis Center. The Trojans earned victories at No. 2 and No. 3 singles before sweeping both doubles matches. Senior Colton Large defeated Plymouth junior Carter Breeding at No. 2 singles, 6-1, 6-2. Junior Levi McFarland added a 6-1, 6-2 victory over junior Adam Macias at No. 3 singles. Triton’s junior doubles teams completed the victory. Maxwell Johnson and Brayden Nifong defeated Benson Prater and Logan Nelson at No. 1 doubles, 6-3, 6-2. Camden Large and Clayton Andrews topped sophomores Cole Cain and Caleb Edmiston at No. 2 doubles, 6-1, 6-4.
