🏐 Blue Slam Sweeps North Judson NORTH JUDSON — The Triton varsity volleyball team continued its winning run Tuesday night, defeating North Judson-San Pierre in straight sets, 25-18, 25-22, 25-21. The Lady Trojans controlled the opening set for a 25-18 victory before North Judson challenged them in the second. Triton held off the Bluejays, 25-22, and completed the road sweep with a 25-21 win in the third. Freshman Avery Wright led Triton’s attack with 11 kills. Junior Savannah Hawley added eight kills, while sophomore Analeigh Na contributed seven. Senior Lydia Hammond anchored the Lady Trojan defense with a team-high 23 digs. Senior Jillian Bules collected 19 digs, and junior Sophie Howell added 13. Hawley controlled the net with five blocks. Na recorded three blocks, while Wright contributed two. Na directed Triton’s offense with 26 assists, while Howell added five. Na also led the Lady Trojans from the service line with three aces, followed by Bules with two. The Triton junior varsity team rallied after dropping the opening set to defeat North Judson in three, 20-25, 25-19, 15-10. Triton is led by first-year head coach Gina Westafer.
