🎾 Trojans Stay Perfect With Varsity and JV Sweeps at Knox

KNOX - The Triton boys tennis team remained unbeaten Wednesday evening, sweeping Knox in both varsity and junior varsity competition. The varsity Trojans won all five matches in straight sets to secure a 5-0 victory. Triton surrendered only seven games across the five varsity matches. Senior Max Ritchison defeated Anthony Hoekman 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, while senior Colton Large earned a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Brogan Medesi at No. 2 singles. Junior Levi McFarland turned in a flawless performance at No. 3 singles, defeating Gavin Michel 6-0, 6-0. Triton also controlled the doubles competition. Juniors Brayden Nifong and Max Johnson defeated Emmitt King and Tanner Hoekman 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Sophomore Camden Large and junior Brady Heckaman completed the varsity sweep with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Steven Rudd and Ethan Alexander at No. 2 doubles. The Triton JV team also posted a 5-0 victory. Junior Clayton Andrews won 6-1, junior Aiden Emkow earned a 6-4 victory and freshman Landon Grindle won 6-3 in singles action. In JV doubles, juniors Jackson Faulkner and Kayden Hummitch recorded a 6-0 victory. Senior Oliver Ickes and freshman Galen Harms completed the sweep with a 6-4 win.
