BOURBON — Triton made its final home game of the season a memorable one Thursday night, rallying for three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to defeat Wawasee 5-4 on Senior Night. The Trojans honored their senior baseball players — Drew Bingamon, Braxton Kaufman and Maddox Dennie — before the game, then closed the night with a dramatic extra-inning victory at Ken Keller Field. Triton took the first lead of the game with two runs in the bottom of the third inning and held Wawasee scoreless through the first five frames. Bingamon was strong on the mound, working seven innings and striking out 11 while allowing five hits, two earned runs and no walks. Wawasee tied the game with two runs in the sixth, then pushed across two more in the top of the eighth to take a 4-2 lead.
