NORTH JUDSON — Triton put together a four-run third inning Tuesday night, but North Judson-San Pierre used two big innings to defeat the Lady Trojans 18-4 in five innings. North Judson jumped in front with one run in the first inning before breaking the game open with eight runs in the second and nine more in the third. Triton answered in the top of the third with its best inning of the night, scoring four runs on the way to finishing with five hits. Clara Doll delivered the big swing for the Lady Trojans, driving in three runs with a double. Kaitlyn Frick added a strong night at the plate, going 2-for-3 with an RBI. Jada Bules and Addalyn Bailey each added a hit for Triton. North Judson was led by Molly Madsen, who homered and drove in four runs. Olivia Timm went 2-for-3 with two RBI, while Ella Chambers added two hits. Catlin Hammack also doubled and drove in two runs for the Bluejays. Madsen earned the win in the circle for North Judson, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out nine over five innings. Eleanor Hernandez took the loss for Triton in relief of Makenzie Singleton.
