CULVER — Culver Academies won the three-team meet with 87 points Monday evening, with Triton finishing second at 64 and Marquette Catholic third with 14. The Lady Trojans still turned in a strong performance, collecting several event victories and key runner-up finishes. Culver used its depth to secure the team victory, but Triton showcased strong individual performances across the track and field, earning several event wins and podium finishes. Triton’s biggest highlight came in the distance events, where Evelyn Gephart claimed the 1600-meter run title in 6:15.29, narrowly edging Culver’s Simone Bergeron in one of the closest finishes of the night. On the track, Triton dominated the hurdles. Rilee Bemish captured the 100-meter hurdles in 19.06, while teammate Izzy Rettinger added a third-place finish.
In the 300 hurdles, Addison Albright delivered another victory for the Trojans, winning in 52.05. Triton also closed the meet strong in the relays, winning the 4x400 relay in 4:34.82 to finish ahead of both Culver and Marquette Catholic. In the field events, Avery Viers had a standout performance, sweeping both throwing events. She won the discus with a throw of 93-9 and added a victory in the shot put at 27-9. 
Viers also contributed a runner-up finish in the high jump (4-10), making her one of Triton’s top overall performers of the meet. Additional strong efforts came from Morgan Heckaman, who placed second in the 400-meter dash (1:09.24), and Hosannah Chupp, who finished second in the long jump (13-10). Culver Academies was led by Laine Lyles, who won both the 100-meter dash and high jump, along with strong performances across the sprints and relays to secure the team win.
