FULTON — Triton dropped behind by two runs in the first inning Thursday, then methodically climbed back in front and finished off a 6-4 conference baseball win over Caston. The Trojans scored once in the second, three times in the third, added single runs in the fourth and seventh, and held on after the Comets pushed across two runs in the bottom of the seventh. Braxton Kaufman set the tone on the mound for Triton, working six innings while allowing seven hits, four earned runs and three walks with eight strikeouts. Drew Bingamon handled the final inning and kept Caston from getting any closer, allowing two hits and striking out one. The Trojans made the most of seven hits and five walks.
