The Triton Athletic Department is excited to announce the hiring of Gina Westafer as our next Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach. Gina is a Triton graduate of the class of 2003. She was the head girls and boys volleyball coach at Coral Academy of Science in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2023 she was 4A Mountain Conference Winners, State Semi-finalist, and 4A Coach of the Year. Athletic Director, Rodney Younis, stated “We are extremely excited to have Coach Westafer back at Triton to lead our Girls Volleyball Program. Gina brings experience that will help us continue with the growth of our program. Her passion and expertise as a coach, and her ability to build strong relationships with her players makes her the perfect fit for Triton Blue Slam Volleyball.” Gina Westafer was approved as the Head Girls Volleyball Coach at Monday night’s school board meeting.
