Saturday, December 20, 2025 CULVER, Ind. – The Lady Trojans continued their dominance of the Hoosier North Athletic Conference on Saturday, capturing the 2025 HNAC Girls Wrestling Tournament championship and securing back-to-back conference titles. Triton put together a commanding performance, overwhelming the field with depth and consistency across weight classes. The Lady Trojans finished with 254 team points—more than double the score of runner-up North Miami (112.5)—to comfortably claim the team championship. Out of 12 Triton wrestlers entered, 10 earned All-Conference recognition. Six Lady Trojans stood atop the podium as conference champions, while four more added second-place finishes to further separate Triton from the rest of the field. Claiming All-Conference honors with first-place finishes were Macy Carson (105 lbs), Kensie Schuh (110), Rilee Bemish (135), Bailey Nicely (140), Emma Tobolski (145), and Jazmin Lemler (170). Each wrestler navigated a competitive bracket to earn a conference title and critical team points. Triton’s depth was on full display as Kailyn Schuh (100 lbs), Andrea Ford (120), Brianna Lockhart (125), and Saran Jones (235) finished second in their respective weight classes, earning All-Conference Honorable Mention recognition. Additional placers included Caiti Gould (115) and Gabrielle Ford (155), who both finished fourth. North Judson placed third with 105 points, followed by Caston (97), Culver Community (85), Winamac (80), and Pioneer (15). The championship effort is a testament to the dedication of the athletes and the leadership of head coach Jason Arvesen, who has guided the program to two conference titles in its first two years of existence. Under Arvesen’s direction, the Lady Trojans have quickly established themselves as one of the premier programs in the HNAC. With a strong core of wrestlers and continued support from fans and the community, Triton’s future in girls wrestling remains exceptionally bright—adding another championship season to a growing list of accomplishments. 2025/26 HNAC All-Conference Champions – 1st Place Finishers 105 lbs — Macy Carson 110 lbs — Kensie Schuh 135 lbs — Rilee Bemish 140 lbs — Bailey Nicely 145 lbs — Emma Tobolski 170 lbs — Jazmin Lemler All-Conference Honorable Mention – 2nd Place Finishers 100 lbs — Kailyn Schuh 120 lbs — Andrea Ford 125 lbs — Brianna Lockhart 235 lbs — Saran Jones Additional Placers 115 lbs — Caiti Gould (4th Place) 155 lbs — Gabrielle Ford (4th Place) Photo Album link: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.122165124452770133&type=3 Article writing assisted by AI Media outlets and fans are encouraged to share our posts on Facebook; however, you may not reproduce the articles or accompanying images on your own website in a manner that implies ownership or authorship.
