Monday, December 15, 2025 BOURBON, Ind. — A strong start and a decisive third-quarter surge lifted the Triton boys C-Team to a 35–25 victory over Morgan Township on Monday night. Triton set the tone early, jumping out to an 11–6 lead after the first quarter behind active defense and efficient scoring. Morgan Township responded in the second period, trimming the deficit to three at halftime, 17–14, as both teams struggled to find consistency on offense. The game swung in Triton’s favor coming out of the break. Triton outscored Morgan Township 13–4 in the third quarter, using defensive pressure and balanced scoring to build a double-digit advantage. Morgan Township made a late push in the fourth, but Triton maintained control down the stretch to secure the win. Freshman Justice Hensley led all scorers with 15 points for Triton, consistently attacking the basket and finishing through contact despite picking up four fouls. Maddux Holloway added eight points, while junior Christian McIntosh and Tyler Painton chipped in five and four points, respectively. Triton limited fouls throughout the lineup, with four players finishing with one foul or fewer. Morgan Township was paced by Johnathon Rachford, who scored 11 points without committing a foul. Heath Rubarts added six points, and Rocco Bucher contributed five. Despite a solid defensive effort, Morgan Township was held to just four points in the third quarter, which proved to be the difference.
