Friday, December 12, 2025 BOURBON, Ind. — Triton’s JV boys delivered a dominant, wire-to-wire performance Friday night, overwhelming Pioneer 55–14 in Hoosier North Athletic Conference action with relentless defense and balanced scoring. The Trojans set the tone immediately, racing to a 12–5 first-quarter lead before completely suffocating the Panthers over the next two periods. Triton held Pioneer to just five total points across the second and third quarters, blowing the game open with a 27–3 run that erased any doubt. Triton’s defensive pressure forced 32 turnovers, converting those mistakes into 32 points off turnovers, while limiting Pioneer to just 5 made field goals on the night. The Panthers shot 31 percent from the floor and managed only two points in the entire second half. Offensively, the Trojans were efficient and unselfish, shooting 52.5 percent from the field and recording 12 assists. Jaidyn Arnett led all scorers with 11 points, knocking down three three-pointers and setting the pace offensively. Blayze Hensley added 8 points, while Tyler Painton chipped in 7 on a perfect shooting night inside. Triton’s depth was on full display, as nine different players scored, including strong bench contributions from AJ Fuller, Max Johnson, and Colton Large. The Trojans dominated the paint 28–8 and never allowed Pioneer to find rhythm against their aggressive man-to-man defense. By halftime, Triton had built a commanding 25–8 lead, then poured in 24 points in the third quarter to put the game firmly out of reach. The fourth quarter served as a showcase for Triton’s depth and discipline as the Trojans closed out one of their most complete JV performances of the season. • TRITON 55, PIONEER 14 HNAC game At Triton TRITON: Justice Hensley 1 0-0 3, Blayze Hensley 3 1-2 8, Levi McFarland 3 0-1 6, Owen Feldman 0 0-0 0, Tyler Painton 3 1-2 7, Jaidyn Arnett 4 0-0 11, Christian McIntosh 0 0-0 0, AJ Fuller 2 0-0 5, Maddux Holloway 1 0-0 2, Camden Large 1 0-0 2, Max Johnson 2 1-3 5, Colton Large 1 4-4 6.
