Wednesday, December 10, 2025 VALPARAISO, Ind. — The Triton Varsity Girls Wrestling team delivered an explosive performance Wednesday night as they traveled to Boone Grove for a highly anticipated dual meet. Despite entering the night short-handed with three athletes sidelined by injury, the Lady Trojans came out with intensity, confidence, and commanding skill. Senior Rilee Bemish set the tone at 135 lbs., needing just 23 seconds to secure a pin over her Boone Grove opponent. Fellow seniors Bailey Nicely and Emma Tobolski kept the momentum rolling, earning their own decisive pins in 56 seconds and 43 seconds, respectively. Head Coach Arvesen anticipated a tough matchup heading into the dual, but the Triton athletes quickly proved they were prepared to dominate. “Even with a few girls out, the ones who stepped on the mat came ready to compete,” Arvesen said. “They wrestled hard, stayed aggressive, and left everything out there.” With both teams facing forfeits due to limited rosters, Triton’s wrestlers made every match count—showing grit, focus, and exceptional execution throughout the night. Triton returns to action Thursday night at home as they take on Bremen and Culver for Senior Night.
