Tuesday, December 9, 2025 BOURBON, Ind. — Triton’s varsity boys delivered one of their most efficient offensive performances of the season Tuesday night, using a powerful second-half surge to defeat Lakeland Christian Academy 56–33 at The Trench. The Trojans led by just one after a tightly contested first quarter, but everything changed in the second and third. Triton imposed its will on both ends, outscoring LCA 33–11 during the middle two periods and turning a close game into a commanding victory. An 18–3 third-quarter run broke the contest open and cemented the Trojans’ momentum. Sophomore Brady Wood was the engine of Triton’s offense, pouring in 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting, blending downhill drives, mid-range touch, and timely perimeter shooting. His efficiency set the tone for a Triton squad that finished the night hitting 52.1 percent of its shots. Senior Gage Riffle added 15 points and seven rebounds, carving up LCA’s interior defense with aggressive takes to the rim.
