Saturday, November 22, 2025 MUNSTER, Ind. —The Munster Super Duals took place last weekend, and Triton delivered a strong overall showing at this highly competitive event. Triton opened the day against Rensselaer Central. Although the team was evenly matched, the girls did not perform to their full potential. Nerves appeared to play a factor, and a few costly mistakes affected several winnable matchups. Triton ultimately fell just short, dropping a 43–42 decision after losing the tiebreaker. In the second round, Triton faced No. 8–ranked Hobart and suffered a tough 71–9 loss. The team rebounded in the third round with its first victory of the day, defeating LaPorte 54–24. Triton then took on Penn, falling 74–6. In the final dual of the day, Triton went up against host Munster. Despite expecting a challenging match, Triton rose to the occasion and secured a 42–36 victory. Overall, Triton finished 2–3 on the day, with one loss coming down to a tiebreaker that could have easily swung in their favor. While the team had opportunities to finish 3–2, the focus remains on gaining experience and continuing to grow. The athletes are improving with each outing—keep up the great work, ladies.
