TC VOLLEYBALL SWEEPS EASTERN HANCOCK TO OPEN SECTIONAL PLAY. Triton Central opened IHSAA Sectional #43 in dominant fashion Thursday night, sweeping host Eastern Hancock 3-0 to advance to the semifinals. The Tigers controlled the match from start to finish, taking the first set 25-21, the second 25-19, and holding off a late rally by the Royals to close out the third set 25-23. With the victory, Triton Central improves to 21-8 on the season and moves one step closer to a sectional championship. The Tigers will return to Eastern Hancock on Saturday for a 12:30 PM semifinal matchup against Scecina. The winner will advance to the sectional championship later that evening at 6 PM.
