TC FOOTBALL REMAINS UNBEATEN WITH WIN OVER MONROVIA. Triton Central improved to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in the Hoosier Legends Conference Friday night with a 24-14 win at home against Monrovia. The Tigers controlled the first three quarters, building a 17-0 lead before holding off a late Bulldogs rally. Matthew Wilkins opened the scoring with a one-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. A 53-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter and a 40-yard field goal from kicker Nick Tormoehlen in the third gave Triton Central a comfortable advantage. Monrovia cut the deficit in the fourth with a 24-yard touchdown pass, but Triton Central's Cooper Marlin immediately answered with a 60-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
