TC BOYS SOCCER LOSES BATTLE WITH SOUTHWESTERN. The Triton Central boys soccer team put together a strong defensive effort Wednesday night but came up just short against Class 1A No. 8-ranked Southwestern, falling 1-0 on the road. Southwestern’s Landon Drake provided the only goal of the match, breaking through the Tigers’ back line to give the Spartans the advantage. With the defeat, Triton Central drops to 0-3-1 on the season. The Tigers will look to get their first win the season next Wednesday (9/3) when they host Indian Creek in their Hoosier Legends Conference opener.
