TC BOYS TENNIS SWEEPS SPEEDWAY. Triton Central’s boys tennis team continued its strong season with a commanding 5-0 victory over Speedway on Monday evening. The Tigers were dominant across the board, not dropping a single set en route to their fourth win of the season. Leading the charge was #1 singles player Janssen Capps, who delivered a strong performance, shutting out Speedway’s Ethan Lowe 6-0, 6-0. At #2 singles, Brayden Hoover followed suit with a convincing 6-1, 6-0 win over Michael Broda. Bradyn Robinson closed out the singles sweep at the #3 spot, defeating Ryan Mort 6-2, 6-0. Triton Central’s doubles teams were equally impressive. The #1 duo of Max Crouse and Caleb McGuire overpowered Paul Tice and Matthew West 6-0, 6-0. The #2 doubles team of Drayton Kermode and Graham Gast secured the fifth point by forfeit. With the win, Triton Central improves to 4-2 on the season. The Tigers return to action Thursday (9/27) at home as they host Southwestern at 4:30 PM.
