TC VOLLEYBALL FALLS AT HOME TO NEW PALESTINE. The Triton Central volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to New Palestine Thursday night at home, moving the Tigers to 8-5 on the season. The Tigers battled in the opening set, narrowly falling 27-25. New Palestine then took control in the second set, winning 25-16, before closing out the match with a 25-13 victory in the third. Kate Collier led Triton Central with seven digs and six kills, while Lucy May also recorded seven kills. Alaina Darlage contributed nine digs, and Anna Kemper finished with 19 assists. Savanna Plew added two blocks, while Maecy Cord recorded two aces. The loss comes after TC opened the season with eight wins in its first 12 matches. The Tigers will look to bounce back Tuesday night when they host Speedway. The JV match is scheduled for 6 PM, with the varsity match to follow. JV Tigers Fall to New Palestine The Triton Central JV squad also fell to New Palestine, dropping a 2-0 decision. New Palestine won the opening set 25-19 before taking the second set 25-12. Aisla Rush contributed two kills and two aces, while Ella Weaver recorded three assists. Brenli Reguli and Ryn West each had three blocks, and Adyson Wright added five digs. Kaylynn Alexander also contributed two aces. The JV Tigers are now 6-3 on the season. Both Triton Central squads will look to get back in the win column Tuesday when Speedway comes to town.
