TC CROSS COUNTRY MAKES BIG STRIDES AT RUSHVILLE INVITE. The Triton Central High School cross country teams continued their season Saturday morning at the Rushville Invitational, with the Tigers turning in a strong day of performances and significant improvement across the board. All six Triton Central runners recorded a new personal best in the meet, with improvements ranging from approximately 16 seconds to two minutes faster than their previous times. Sophomores Audrey Morris and Jason P’Pool led the way for the Tigers. Morris paced the TC girls, while P’Pool led the boys as both sophomores continued to build on their strong starts to the season. The improvements throughout the roster highlighted the progress the Tigers have made early in the season. With each runner setting a new personal best, Triton Central is continuing to gain valuable racing experience and establish a strong foundation for the remainder of the season. The Tigers will look to carry that momentum into their next meet as the cross country season continues on September 12th for the Shelby County Tournament.
