TC BOYS TENNIS SWEEP BEECH GROVE. Triton Central boys tennis continued its strong start to the 2026 season Wednesday night, cruising to a 5-0 sweep of Beech Grove at home in a Hoosier Legends Conference matchup. The Tigers improve to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in HLC play with the victory. Triton Central dominated singles play, winning all three matches in straight sets. At No. 1 singles, Brayden Hoover delivered a dominant performance, shutting out Beech Grove's Jake Ryan, 6-0, 6-0. Bradyn Robinson matched Hoover's performance at No. 2 singles, blanking Colton Thacker, 6-0, 6-0. At No. 3 singles, Drayton Kermode defeated Rex Bezy, 6-1, 6-2, giving the Tigers a clean sweep of the singles courts. The Tigers also won both doubles matches, although No. 1 doubles required a comeback. Colton Ayres and Graham Gast dropped the opening set to Ethan Corbett and Ismael Correto, 6-4, before responding with back-to-back wins of 6-1 and 6-3 to take the match. At No. 2 doubles, Owen Rice and Cash Eck defeated Cooper Wynn and Adam Yeory, 6-4, 6-3, completing the varsity sweep. JV Picks Up Another Victory The Triton Central JV squad also remained unbeaten, defeating Beech Grove 1-0. The Tigers are now 3-0-1 overall and 2-0 in HLC play. Brylon Scott and Jason Gregory earned the lone team point, cruising to an 8-1 victory over Grayson Wynn and Luke Bohman at No. 1 doubles. With both teams continuing to find success in conference play, Triton Central will hit the road Thursday for its next matchup. The Tigers will travel to Southwestern on Thursday, with the match scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM.
