TC CROSS COUNTRY OPENS SEASON AT JEREMY WRIGHT MEMORIAL INVITE. The Triton Central High School cross country teams opened their 2026 season Saturday morning at the Jeremy Wright Memorial Small School Invitational, hosted by Southwestern High School at the Blue River Cross Country Course in Shelbyville. The meet provided an opportunity for the Tigers to get their first competition of the season, with five of TC's six runners competing in their first-ever race for Triton Central High School. TC Boys The Tigers were led by Jason P'Pool, who finished 168th overall with a time of 23:50.1. Hudson Watson followed in 194th place at 25:22.0, while Braydyn Hart finished 217th with a time of 26:52.6. Luke Starost rounded out the TC boys' lineup, placing 231st with a time of 28:48.1. TC Girls For the girls, Audrey Morris led the way for the Tigers, finishing 80th overall with a time of 27:12.6. Lillian Siegel completed the girls' race in 149th place, recording a time of 38:28.3. With the first meet now in the books, the Tigers will look to build on their opening performances as the season continues. Triton Central cross country will return to action next Saturday at the Rushville XC Classic, with the meet scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM.
