TC VOLLEYBALL GOES 2-2 AT WARRIOR INVITATIONAL. The Triton Central volleyball team wrapped up a busy Saturday at the 21st Annual Warrior Invitational hosted by Covenant Christian, finishing the tournament with a 2-2 record. The Tigers opened the day on a strong note, sweeping the host Covenant Christian 2-0 in their first match of the tournament. Triton Central then faced Greenfield-Central in its second match, falling 0-2. The Tigers followed that match with another tough matchup against Guerin Catholic, dropping a 0-2 decision to the eventual tournament champions. TC closed out the day on a positive note, earning a 2-0 sweep over Herron High School to finish the invitational with two wins and two losses. The 2-2 tournament performance moves Triton Central's season record to 4-3. Congratulations to Guerin Catholic on winning the 21st Annual Warrior Invitational. The Tigers will return to action Tuesday when they travel to Beech Grove for a Hoosier Legends Conference matchup. The JV match is scheduled to begin at 5:30 PM, with the varsity match to follow. Triton Central will look to carry the momentum from Saturday's two victories into Tuesday's HLC matchup against Beech Grove.
