TC GIRLS SOCCER EARNS 3-2 VICTORY OVER SOUTHPORT. The Triton Central girls soccer team picked up its second consecutive victory Thursday night, defeating Southport 3-2 on the road. Junior Rylee Pruitt and sophomore Maddie Burnett provided the offense for the Tigers in the hard-fought win. Pruitt found the back of the net once, while Burnett scored twice to account for Triton Central's three goals. Pruitt and Burnett have accounted for all six of Triton Central's goals during the two-game winning streak, with each scoring three times. The victory came just one night after the Tigers defeated Indian Creek 3-1 in their home and Hoosier Legends Conference opener. After dropping their season opener, TC has responded with back-to-back wins to improve to 2-1 on the season. Triton Central will return home Monday night to host Heritage Christian. The match is scheduled to begin at 6 PM.
