GIRLS WRESTLING @ HOOSIER LEGENDS CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT (12/12)

TC GIRLS WRESTLING FINISHES 4TH AT HLC, GRAY FINISHES 1ST. Triton Central junior Zoie Gray made program history Friday night, capturing the inaugural Hoosier Legends Conference girls wrestling championship at 190 pounds at Beech Grove High School. Gray, who is currently ranked third in the state in her weight class, powered through the field to claim the conference title and become the Tigers’ first-ever Hoosier Legends Conference champion in girls wrestling. Behind Gray’s championship run, Triton Central finished fourth in the team standings at the conference meet. The Tigers also received strong performances throughout the lineup, placing three wrestlers as conference runners-up. Aubree Propp, Jayla Rethmeyer and Kahli Burmeister each advanced to their respective finals and earned second-place finishes. Lilly Siegel added to Triton Central’s scoring with a third-place finish, rounding out a solid night for the Tigers at the league meet. Triton Central will be back on the mat Tuesday night when it travels to Greenwood for a dual meet beginning at 6 PM.
