The Viking Golf team traveled to Congress Lake Golf Club on Monday to compete at the Lake Invitational. The 25 team field saw the Vikings shoot 309 to finish 3rd on the day. One shot out of second place and only four shots behind Akron Hoban. The Vikings were led by Sophomore Deacon Kroeger who carded an even par 71 on the day, good enough to tie for medalist honors. Landon Sturgell and Will Griffith each shot 79, Trent Hicks added an 80 and Noah Hilgenberg finished with 85. Next up for the Vikings is the third OCC on Wednesday at Denison.
