Braves Topple Vikings at the Brad Morris Classic

The Logan Elm Braves used a 26 point third quarter in defeating the Teays Valley Vikings at the Brad Morris Classic. The Vikings used stingy defense and offensive execution in generating a 17-9 first quarter lead. The second period saw the Vikings battle through foul trouble in taking a 34-26 lead into half time. The Braves came out of the break on fire, as they scored 26 third quarter points behind six 3 point field goals in the period. The Braves took a 52-46 lead into the final stanza. The fourth period saw the Braves extend the lead to double digits, before the Vikings took their final lead with two minutes to go in the game. The Braves connected on eight free throws down the stretch in securing the win. The Vikings will travel to Whitehall on Monday December 29th with the freshman game starting at 4:30.
