Vikings' Rodgers Bowls 300!

Yesterday, we got to witness an achievement that every bowler dreams of but very few ever accomplish. Our senior captain, Sam Rodgers, rolled his first perfect 300 game, a milestone that reflects not only his incredible skill but the dedication, discipline, and heart he brings to this sport every single day. For us as coaches, being part of this moment is something truly special. We’ve watched Sam grow from a talented young bowler into a remarkable leader—one who sets the standard not just on the lanes, but in how he carries himself off of them. His attitude, his work ethic, and his calm determination have shaped the culture of this team. When Sam steps onto the approach, he brings a sense of focus and confidence that lifts everyone around him. When he steps away from it, he brings encouragement, humility, and an example that younger bowlers naturally follow. This perfect game is more than a number on a scoreboard, it’s a reflection of years of hard work, countless frames, and the leadership Sam has shown every time he put on this uniform. His achievement is his own, but the impact reaches the entire team. Moments like this remind us why we coach: to witness the growth of young people who rise to challenges, support each other, and push themselves to their absolute best. Sam, we are incredibly proud of you not only for the 300 game, but for the leader and the person you’ve become. Your teammates look up to you, your coaches believe in you and now you’ve etched your name into the history of this program in a way that truly reflects who you are. Congratulations on a tremendous and well-deserved honor
