Football: Serpas connects on game-winner as Nolensville survives Summit rally By Charlie Bateman • Sports Writer NOLENSVILLE – Thanks to the leg of senior Matthew Serpas, the Nolensville High School football team was able to fend off a fourth-quarter Summit rally and hang on for a 17-14 win Friday to improve to 2-0 overall in an all-Williamson County clash. Serpas converted a 21-yard field goal in the final seconds to lift the Knights to the win after the Spartans had tied the game at 14-14 with back-to-back Zach Lamb touchdown grabs in the final frame.
