Congratulations to Noah Statzel on being named this weeks The Brick Bistro & Brew Athlete of the Week. Noah kicked off his week with an individual championship at the Perryville Invitational last Tuesday, capturing 1st place against a strong field of competitors. Just a few days later, he followed up that performance with an impressive 4th-place finish at the Notre Dame Invitational in Cape Girardeau. The meet featured schools from all five MSHSAA classifications, bringing together some of the top runners in the region. Finishing among the top four runners in such a competitive field is a tremendous accomplishment! What makes Noah’s week even more impressive is his ability to perform at an elite level in two demanding races within just a few days. Winning one invitational and then returning to compete against another highly competitive field takes more than talent—it requires dedication, preparation, and an unwavering competitive spirit.
